Horst Collective Care
Together with Zoë Beery, founder of the safe(r) space team for the Nowadays club in New York and the safe(r) space team of Sustain-Release, and the people of Ecology of Care, a Berlin-based collective that grew out of Room 4 Resistance and Unsound Mutual Respect policy, Horst is working towards being a space to enjoy arts, architecture and music freely but above all: safely.
Collectively we form Collective Care Horst and are looking for a team of monitors to run the code of conduct and guidelines together with us during the festival. During shifts, monitors will either walk the festival grounds, or stay in the Collective Care space, which is a relaxation room with ambient lighting and soothing music. Monitors must have a clear & sober head while working and be available to guests; shifts are not a time to party.
Monitors will gain experience in community safety and event production that they can bring back to their own parties and events.
There will be a training workshop with our coordinators before the festival on 21/04, and a team welcoming dinner on 28/4.
Besides entrance to the festival on the day you are working as monitor, we provide :
Water, soft drinks and tokens (non alcoholic drinks prior & during shift)
A hot meal and access to fruit and snacks
€33 per shift plus a free pass for one additional day of the festival or €100/weekend.
